2010 Call for Nominations

Campia Gymnastics is governed by an operational board that is moving towards a policy-driven board and is staffed with an Executive Director, Competitive Coordinator, Recreational Coordinator and Office Administrator, who administer the operation of the organization. The election of officers will occur at the end of the AGM on Wednesday, November 3, 2010. The following positions will be available for election:

 Vice-President General Accountability This position is of high profile wherein the individual is responsible for the President’s position when the President is unavailable. The Vice-president shall be an assistant to the President. Specific accountability 1. Present to community groups, professional groups and organizations as required. 2. Attend seminars and conferences as required. 3. Shall be responsible for the coordination of the Constitution and its By-laws.

Treasurer General Accountability This position is responsible to prepare realistic program plans and budgets by preparing necessary cost data and proposals. Specific accountabilities 1. Establish budget plans on a yearly basis. 2. Shall disburse the funds of the Club as directed by the Board. 3. Keep records of all monetary transactions. 4. Present up-to-date financial statements at each Board meeting 5. Be a signing officer on all cheques of Campia Gymnastics Club Inc.

Directors At Large: 7 Positions Directors may assist in the day-to-day operations of the Club with duties to include registration, administrative responsibilities, equipment safety, development and maintenance of policy and procedures, fundraising, public relations, coordination of competitive, recreational, and summer day camp programs or as assigned by the Board of Directors. The current portfolios include: Communications, Facilities & Equipment, Fundraising, Human Resources, Social, Special Events, and Sponsorship.

While Campia will accept nominations for the floor at the 2010 AGM, it is recommend that all nominees submit their names to Michelle Tuck or Cindy Sooley prior to the AGM by emailing info@campiagymnastics.com or csooley@campiagymnastics.com
