Position: Full Time Recreational Coach

Campia Gymnastics in Mount Pearl, NL is looking for an energetic, creative and responsible coach for our recreational gymnastics programs. Campia is a non‐profit organization committed to providing a variety of competitive and recreational gymnastics programs. Campia features a comprehensive recreational program offering Parent & Tots, KinderGym, and CanGym programs for toddlers to teens.

This full time position will report directly to the Recreational Co‐ordinator and provides a flexible work schedule (three weekdays and weekends). Campia is willing to provide on‐thejob training to the right candidate.

Job Objectives: • To provide a positive gymnastics experience to our recreational gymnastics members. • To instill a love of gymnastics, and sport in general, so that our members can achieve their potential level of physical fitness and gymnastics ability.

Duties & Responsibilities: • Coach pre‐school and recreational gymnastics classes. • Assist with development of coaching plans for recreational programs. • Inspect equipment and perform safety checks, immediately reporting any deficiencies.

Qualifications & Requirements: • Minimum education: High school or equivalent • Experience in coaching gymnastics, other sports or equivalent • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Current Certificate of Conduct • Physical Education, Recreational or Sport Management (would be an asset) • Minimum NCCP Level 1 Coaching Certificate or equivalent (would be an asset) • Standard First Aid Certificate (would be an asset)
